BUSINESS CAPACITY GRANT
If your Saskatchewan-based business in one of our six creative sectors is up and running and ready to grow, this grant could help you expand, or become more efficient.

Applicants from all creative sectors supported by Creative Saskatchewan are eligible to apply for this grant.

Craft & Visual Arts
Deadline: September 15, 2021 at 4pm
Film & TV
Deadline: February 15, 2022, at 4pm
Deadline: October 15, 2021, at 4pm
Live Performing Arts
Deadline: November 15, 2021 at 4pm
Deadline: February 1 , 2022, at 4pm
If a deadline falls on a statutory holiday or a weekend, applications will be accepted until 4pm the following business day.
Projects may be funded up to 50% of the approved project budget to a maximum of $25,000 per applicant per fiscal year (whichever is the lesser) or to a maximum of $50,000 per applicant per 24 months (whichever is the lesser).
Your project will focus on developing business knowledge, improved efficiencies, expanded workforce capacity and business skills that result in growth, market expansion and improved profitability. For example: attending an entrepreneurial skills course, or a conference that will help your business build a stronger professional network. We welcome proposals for other projects or activities, as long as they are intended to help your business expand.

Experience & Capacity
Make a strong case for how the activity you'd like to pursue will help your business grow.
Include a detailed timeline of what you'll be doing, and when.
Back up your proposed budget with quotes from vendors.
Explain why the right time to do this is now.
Spell-out your business' short-term and long-term goals.
AFTER YOU'RE APPROVED
When you're approved, 80% of the funds you've been awarded will be delivered when you sign the letter of agreement.
The remaining 20% of the funds are delivered after the project is complete, and we're approved your final report.
You'll be required to keep your program officer up to date with any changes you might need to make to your project.

APPLICATION PROCESSING TIME
Applicants can expect to receive results within 10 weeks from deadline date.
Results will be delivered via e-mail, and will be available in GMS.
