Creative Saskatchewan sponsors several projects in the year that align with our Focus Areas, and our Vision, Mission, and Values.

Eligible ‘Projects’ are defined as events, initiatives, campaigns, exhibits, performances, interactive experiences and so on that support Saskatchewan creative entrepreneurs and commercializes the creative industries in Saskatchewan.

As Creative Saskatchewan is a government agency funded by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport – our funds must be used to support Saskatchewan businesses, expenditures, and artists.
Creative Saskatchewan does not fund the following:
Creative Saskatchewan is the economic development agency for Saskatchewan’s creative industries. Creative Saskatchewan unlocks the potential of the creative industries and fuels the economic engine of homegrown talent, converting creativity into cashflow. The agency’s investments propel creative entrepreneurs as they create, perform, innovate, and export in their pursuit of commercial success.
When considering sponsorship requests, we consider the project’s impact on the below Focus Areas, as well alignment with as our Mission, Vision, and Values.
Please note that it is not a requirement to meet every single area, but your project should touch on at least one.
Creative Saskatchewan is a leader supporting collaboration, entrepreneurial capacity, innovation, and convergence that maximizes leveraged resources, commercial success and market access for Saskatchewan’s creative industries and producers.
We are driven to achieve a future where Saskatchewan’s creative producers continue to realize diverse commercial opportunities in national, international, and emerging markets which collectively grow thriving, sustainable creative industries.
As an organization we uphold the following values to support the interest of the creative community:
Creative Saskatchewan sponsorships are available year-round until the fund is exhausted, or until the cut off date of January 31, 2023.
The maximum sponsorship request is $5,000 per organization per calendar year.
You must submit a budget that clearly outlines what the funds will be used for.
Applicants are required to submit their application a minimum of eight weeks before their project commences, to allow ample time for review, approval, follow up, and implementation of appropriate benefits.
All sponsorship recipients are required to submit a brief overview of the project’s outcome, and how Creative Saskatchewan’s support was leveraged.
