Q: I have received a Creative Saskatchewan grant for travel. Am I still permitted to use those funds to travel?
A: Yes. Creative Saskatchewan urges all travel grant recipients to cancel travel plans, but the decision to travel, and to accept the associated risks, remains the responsibility of the grant recipient. Creative Saskatchewan grants are never increased after approval, so all extra costs that may be incurred for any reason, including COVID-19 restrictions, will not be funded. Creative Saskatchewan recommends that any grant recipient choosing to travel consult saskatchewan.ca/coronavirus for the latest updates on COVID-19. The Government of Canada also maintains a travel advice page.
