

LIVE PERFORMING ARTS PRODUCTION GRANT
GRANT OVERVIEW
This grant invests in Live Performing Arts projects that are ready to be staged for a paying audience to expand commercial potential. Live performances and digital broadcasts are eligible.
ELIGIBLE CREATIVE SECTORS
This grant invests exclusively in the Live Performing Arts creative sector.
This sector includes theatre, musical theatre and dance.
A note on eligibility:

If ineligible expenses exceed 50% of the project budget, the application will be deemed ineligible.

Activities that receive funding from the Saskatchewan Arts or SaskCulture are not eligible for support through Creative Saskatchewan investment programs.

Music, Film and TV, Publishing, Craft and Visual Arts, and Interactive Digital sectors are not eligible for this grant.

DEADLINE INFORMATION
Open date: June 1, 2022
Deadline: November 15, 2022
If a deadline falls on a statutory holiday or a weekend, applications will be accepted until 4:00 pm the following business day.
COVID-19: TEMPORARY CHANGES
To provide our clients with improved access to grants and programs while facing financial pressures associated with COVID-19, the following temporary guideline changes are in place:

A restriction that prevented applicants from including both an administration fee and in-house expenses in their project budget has been temporarily removed.

This grant can be compatible with COVID public gathering restrictions. Online, live-streamed productions are eligible.
OUR INVESTMENT
This grant covers 50% of eligible production costs to a maximum of $20,000.00, whichever is the lesser.
YOUR PROJECT
This grant invests in companies and individuals that are producing live performances for paying audiences to expand commercial potential.
Online, live streaming performances are eligible for this grant.
