The Market and Export Development Grant provides support to individuals and businesses for market access and market development opportunities intended to improve visibility and generate sales.
The Assessment Criteria was approved on April 1, 2023 for the 2023-24 Fiscal Year. Any amendments made after the fact will be posted here:

The definition of a “Key Team Member” was added: “A Saskatchewan resident who has significant influence over the creative, production, marketing plan, and/or business plan and is compensated in the project budget at $500 or more.”

3. Quality of Project Plan
Detailed workplan describing the marketing tools used to reach the target market, along with the tasks that make up the activity, the order the tasks will be undertaken, and the resources required to complete the project. The workplan should inform the timeline and the budget.

10 points or higher: The project is eligible to receive 50% of eligible budgeted expenses to a maximum of $5,000, pending availability of funds.
Less than 10 points: The project is ineligible for funding.
