THE WAIT-LIST IS NO LONGER BEING MAINTAINED.
THIS GRANT PROGRAM IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR ENDING MAR 31, 2018. DETAILS REGARDING THE RE-OPENING OF THIS GRANT WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN SPRING 2018.
Creative Saskatchewan’s Screen-Based Media Production Grant is now over-subscribed for the current fiscal year ending March 31, 2018.
MORE THAN $6.7 MILLION DOLLARS OF SASKATCHEWAN-SPENDING
Creative Saskatchewan has now committed $2M this fiscal year to Saskatchewan film and TV production, triggering more than $6.7M in spending on Saskatchewan goods and services and on wages for Saskatchewan film crews.
NEW APPLICANTS TO BE WAIT-LISTED
Applications to the Screen-Based Media Production Grant will continue to be accepted and will be placed on a first-come first-processed wait-list. If existing Production Grant commitments change and funds become available, application(s) at the top of the wait-list will be processed. All wait-list details will be kept confidential. The wait-list will be maintained until Jan 31, 2018, at which time the wait-list will be deleted and the Screen-Based Media Production Grant officially closed for the remainder of the fiscal year.
PLANNED FALL INTAKE NOT REQUIRED
Strong demand for the Production Grant during the "Spring 2017 Intake" from both film and television productions means that a planned "Fall 2017 Intake" is no longer required and will not take place.
THANK-YOU TO SASKATCHEWAN'S PRODUCERS
Creative Saskatchewan thanks our province's Screen-Based Media producers for making movies and TV shows in Saskatchewan, and for putting Saskatchewan film crews to work.
