Special Effects Workshop Sponsored by Creative Saskatchewan

As part of our commitment to invest in the future filmmakers of Saskatchewan, we've sponsored an extraordinary workshop led by special effects makeup wizard Emersen Ziffle at the Living Skies Student Film Festival in Regina.

Here are the details:

WORKSHOP | SPECIAL EFFECTS 101 WITH MAKEUP ARTIST AND MONSTER-MAKER EMERSEN ZIFFLE

DATE: SATURDAY, MARCH 10, 2018

TIME: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

LOCATION: EDUCATION BUILDING ROOM 175 (PRODUCTION STUDIO)

Known as the co-creator of Wolfcop, and the man behind each and every one of the character's transformations, Emersen Ziffle has extensive professional experience with make-up, puppetry and practical effects.

Watch, listen and learn as Emersen breaks down his practical effects process, and conducts several demonstrations that are sure to leave you impressed and maybe even grossed out.

Besides Wolfcop and Wolfcop 2, Emersen has lent his hand to many Saskatchewan productions, including 13 Eerie, Corner Gas, and Basic Human Needs. Most recently, he worked on the makeup for the reboot of the famous series, Power Rangers.

This workshop is presented by and made possible through support from Creative Saskatchewan.

Admission is FREE!

Students are especially encouraged to attend.

We hope to see you there!
