Support from Script to Screen

The First Draft and Final Draft streams of the Film and TV Development Grant opened to applicants today, July 16, 2018.
Creative Saskatchewan is proud to invest in film and TV production at every stage of a project's life-cycle, including screenwriting.
In 2015, the final draft of the screenplay for the feature film, A.R.C.H.I.E., was completed with an investment from the Final Draft stream.
The family-friendly movie about a robot dog voiced by Michael J. Fox would go on to be filmed in Saskatchewan, spend more than $900,000 on Saskatchewan goods, services and wages, and set the stage for a sequel.
The First and Final Draft streams of the Film and TV Development Grant will accept applications beginning today, and for as long as funds are available in the program for the current fiscal year ending Mar. 31, 2019.
