Killer New Series Under Way

A new TV series, now in production in and around Regina, will retell dramatic stories behind real-life murder cases, but the central characters in this show are neither the killers or the victims. Their families are.
Murderers irreparably harm their own family – often leaving them physically battered, emotionally scarred, financially ruined and ostracized by neighbors and friends.
This 20 episode series, produced by Wavelength Entertainment in partnership with Breakthrough Entertainment, with support from a Creative Saskatchewan Television Production Grant, tells these compelling stories.
“I can safely say that without Creative Saskatchewan’s investment, a series like this wouldn’t be happening right now in Saskatchewan,” said Steve Allen, principal partner at Wavelength Entertainment.
The production will spend approximately $1.3M on Saskatchewan goods and services, and on wages for local film crew members.
The episodes are scheduled for broadcast in the US and Canada in 2019 (series name and airdates to follow).
