Creative Saskatchewan is reminding business applicants to its grant programs that they must ensure their corporation status remains “active” with the Information Services Corporation (ISC).
Business applicants whose corporate status is not listed as “active” in the ISC registry can not receive Creative Saskatchewan funding.
Creative Saskatchewan checks all business applicants’ corporation status at least twice during the application process: at the time of application, and each time a cheque is issued.
If the status of the corporation is not “active,” applications can not be processed, and cheques can not be issued until “active” status is restored.
More details on how to properly maintain your corporation’s “active” status are available from ISC here.
Please note that creative entrepreneurs who apply as individuals are not required to register at ISC, and are therefore unaffected by this policy.
