Creative Saskatchewan is seeking its next CEO.
Creative Saskatchewan is a provincial Crown agency established in 2013 to stimulate the commercialization of creative products and bring Saskatchewan’s creative talent to market. The agency invests in the commercial success of creative entrepreneurs by administering a comprehensive suite of grant and equity investment programs focussed on production, marketing, business capacity and export. Creative Saskatchewan also administers operational and program funding for seven creative industry associations representing music, film and television, digital interactive media, visual arts, craft, publishing and live performance arts. The CEO will be well-positioned to work closely with expert third-party consultants and to apply the results of a comprehensive analysis to the development of a sharply defined, sustainable system of KPI measurement. The CEO will have a business degree and/or post-secondary training relevant to creative industries, a track record of senior leadership experience including growing responsibilities, and demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, risk assessment, marketing, financial management, organizational design, and economic development.
