GMS Tip: How much should you write?
When completing a grant application in GMS, you'll frequently be asked to describe your project, or to explain a strategy.
It can be tough to know how much detail you need to provide in situation like this.
That's why GMS provides you with a "word count maximum" in each of the blanks where you need to write at length.
Applicants are strongly urged to provide responses that come close to that word limit.
If your response falls more than 20% short of the maximum, it's likely that your brevity will put you at a disadvantage during the evaluation process.
