Saskatoon gallery secures sales with national marketing campaign
The Gallery/art placement recently executed a successful print marketing campaign in Border Crossings Magazine, an arts magazine with great cultural significance in Canada.
An investment from the Creative Saskatchewan Market and Development Grant helped The Gallery promote a larger roster of emerging and established artists, many of whom are from Saskatchewan, in national and international markets.
Twenty-three works were sold from the four exhibitions promoted throughout the campaign, with more than half of those sales going to clients outside of Saskatchewan or outside of Canada.
“People tend to hold onto these kinds of art publications. This is the kind of investment that often pays off in the long run. In terms of career building for those artists, investing in advertising of this kind supports validation among peers and other professionals in the industry that contributes to career growth and future opportunities.” -Levi Nicholat, co-owner, director, and curator at The Gallery/Art Placement Inc.
While The Gallery’s gallery and frame shop are currently closed to the public due to COVID- 19, staff remain on-site to respond to inquiries via phone: 306-664-3385 ext. 2 and email: firstname.lastname@example.org
