Winter Blues Droning On

A Saskatchewan winter can interrupt even the best-laid plans. JavaPost felt this earlier today as the temperatures dropped below their drone's operating limits.

Creative Saskatchewan was pleased to step up to provide them with a perfect space to test and practice some drone maneuvers. The Soundstage turned out to be just big enough to let them practice.

The drone itself requires two operators to fly and film properly. The first pilots the drone while the second handles the camera gimbal.

JavaPost's Ariel Photography can be found in films such as nîpawistamâsowin: We Will Stand Up supported by Creative Saskatchewan's Feature Film Production Grant.
