The Tour Support Grant supports commercially viable touring opportunities for eligible Saskatchewan musicians and theatre companies touring in Canada and abroad.
The Assessment Criteria was approved on April 1, 2023 for the 2023-24 Fiscal Year. Any amendments made after the fact will be posted here:

1. The Plan / 20
Provide an in-depth plan for the tour including the resources required to make it successful. Identify the roles and responsibilities of each team member. This work plan should inform the timeline and the budget.

2. Marketing Strategy /10
List the tools and strategies you anticipate using to promote the tour. Include activities at each stage (pre-tour, during the tour, and follow-up), and at each destination. This needs to be more specific than a general marketing plan.

3. The Team /10
Describe the experience and achievements of you and your team members; why you have assembled this team; tour professionals and marketing professionals (if included in the application). Remember to include industry-relevant resumes or bios for team members in the Upload files tab.

4. What is your realistic return on investment? /5
For example, expected revenue (ticket, product, and merchandise sales); expected increase in web traffic; expected increase in traction on social media, reviews, events, blog posts, etc.; increasing outreach to a target market and/or increase in newsletter audience.

A key team member is defined as a Saskatchewan resident who has significant influence over the creative, production, marketing plan, and/or business plan and is compensated in the project budget at $500 or more.
