ASSESSMENT CRITERIA


As explained in the General Program Guidelines your application will be assessed by specific criteria in three categories

  • Relevance
  • Impact
  • Experience & Capacity
Click here for the assessment criteria specific to this grant. You'll be asked these questions as part of the online Grant Management System application process. Listed beside each criteria is the maximum number of points available as each application is scored. Applicants may wish to pay particular attention to criteria with the highest number of points available.




AFTER YOU'RE APPROVED


  • When you're approved, your grant is payable through two payments: first payment and final payment.
  • 80% of the approved funds are provided to successful applicants on the first day of principal photography of the project.
  • Your final payment is 20% of your grant, paid after the project is complete and your final report has been approved.
  • Grant recipients are required to acknowledge the support of Creative Saskatchewan.
  • This guide includes details on how to make acknowledgements, and how to use our logo.




APPLICATION PROCESSING TIME


Applicants can expect to receive results within 10 weeks from deadline date.
Results will be delivered via e-mail, and will be available in GMS.

GRANT OVERVIEW

  • The Web Series Grant supports the production of multiple episode, short-form, screen-based media projects.

 

OUR INVESTMENT

  • Up to 50% of the approved budget, to a maximum of $10,000

DEADLINE INFORMATION

Opens May 10, 2021, at 12pm

Deadline: November 15, 2021 at 4pm

If a deadline falls on a statutory holiday or a weekend, applications will be accepted until 4pm the following business day.

YOUR PROJECT

  • Your web series must be all of the following:

    • New and original

    • Written, directed, and produced by Saskatchewan residents

    • Entirely developed, filmed and edited in Saskatchewan

    • One of the following genres

      • Scripted or non-scripted drama

      • Children's programming

      • Documentary

      • Animation

COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN

  • Grant recipients will be required to provide a COVID Safety Plan for their production. 

  • The COVID Safety Plan must describe how the production will respect and implement the Saskatchewan On-Set COVID-19 Safety Protocols as developed by the Saskatchewan Media Production Industry Association.

  • The COVID Safety Plan is not required at the time of application. It must be submitted to Creative Saskatchewan before the first day of principal photography.
