GRANT OVERVIEW
This grant supports the production of commercially-viable sound recordings for promotional use and/or commercial release.

COVID-19: TEMPORARY CHANGES
To provide our clients with improved access to grants and programs while facing financial pressures associated with COVID-19, the following temporary guideline changes are in place:

A restriction that prevented applicants from including both an administration fee and in-house expenses in their project budget has been temporarily removed.
CREATIVE SECTOR ELIGIBILITY
This grant invests exclusively in the Music creative sector.

A note on eligibility:

If ineligible expenses exceed 50% of the project budget, the application will be deemed ineligible.

Activities that receive funding from the Saskatchewan Arts or SaskCulture are not eligible for support through Creative Saskatchewan investment programs.
STREAMS OF INVESTMENT
Single Sound Recording
-
This stream assists with the production of a Single Sound Recording containing one to three songs to be released commercially.

Applicants are eligible for a maximum of 50% of eligible expenses up to $1,500 per project.
Extended Play (EP) Recording
-
This stream assists with the production of an EP recording, no longer than 30 minutes, containing four to six songs, to be released commercially.

Applicants may apply for a maximum of $10,000 or 50% of the total production cash budget, whichever is the lesser.
Full Length Sound Recording

This stream assists with the production of a full length sound recording, no less than 30 minutes, containing no fewer than six songs, to be released commercially.

Applicants are eligible for a maximum of 50% of eligible expenses up to $15,000 per project.
