The Saskatchewan Craft Council can help your art departments

The Saskatchewan Craft Council (SCC) represents over 300 artists who can create objects out of 19 different media.

The organization provides a Member Directory, detailing members’ expertise, samples of work, and contact information.

SCC Executive Director, Carmen Milenkovic, is well versed in film production requirements, having worked in the Saskatchewan film industry for over 20 years as an art director, set decorator and producer. SCC’s “How Can We Help” program provides brokering and matching services between their creators and your film’s art departments. They understand production timelines, and can work with your art departments to source your prop and set dressing needs. SCC also belongs to a nationwide network of craft organizations, and so can help you source objects from various regions in Canada.
