You’ve played some local gigs and built a local fan base. Now you’re ready to take your show on the road and perform for new audiences. Creative Saskatchewan offers two streams of funding depending on the nature of the project – Music and Live Performing Arts.
Around the province, across the country or overseas, the Tour Support Grant is aimed at helping the following performers generate revenue and build careers:
Live Performing Arts: *Extended* January 11, 2023
All deadlines close at 4:00 PM Saskatchewan time. If a deadline falls on a statutory holiday or a weekend, applications will be accepted until 4:00 PM the following business day.
Applications must be received no fewer than 14 days prior to the first performance date.
Application processing time: Applicants can expect to receive results within 8 weeks from the deadline date.
Applicants may apply for a maximum of $15,000 or 50% of the total eligible cash budget, whichever is the lesser.
Applicants are eligible for a maximum of two Tour Support Grants per year.
Applicants from all the live performing arts and music sectors supported by Creative Saskatchewan are eligible to apply for this grant.
Please note that if ineligible expenses (outlined in the Guidelines above) exceed 50% of the project budget, the application will be deemed ineligible.
Activities that receive funding from the Saskatchewan Arts or SaskCulture are not eligible for support through Creative Saskatchewan investment programs.
