SaskTel Max Equity Fund

• Applicants can now expect to be notified of their results 10 to 12 weeks following the application deadline.

• 60% of the approved funds are provided to successful applicants on the first day of principal photography of the project.
• The next 20% of funds are provided upon on receipt of an interim report and delivery of rough cut(s).
• The remaining 20%, or a smaller amount based on an audit of actual Saskatchewan expenditures, will be provided after the submission, review, and approval of a final report from the producer.
• Completed projects with budgets under $250,000 are required to provide a cost declaration as part of the final report.
• For projects with a budget that totals $250,000 or greater but less than $500,000, Creative Saskatchewan requires a Final Certified Activity Cost Statements accompanied by an Independent Public Accountant’s Review Engagement Report.
• Completed projects with budgets over $500,000 are required to deliver audited financials as part of the final report.
• Don’t forget to acknowledge the support you’ve received from Creative Saskatchewan by following our guide here.

• The SaskTel Max Equity Fund is classified by the Canada Revenue Agency as “public assistance.” As such, SaskTel Max Equity Fund recipients’ eligibility for federal tax credit programs may be affected.
• Producers are advised to consult with an accounting professional on this, and all other CRA matters.
