We offer a variety of programs to support the film and television industry in Saskatchewan, including feature-length production, development, and administering the SaskTel Max Equity Fund. As the official film commission for Saskatchewan, Creative Saskatchewan offers additional services to support filmmakers considering our province.

Music

From Sound Recording to Music Video Production, we have programs that support Saskatchewan musicians and bands create music with commercial viability.

Book Publishing

Our Book Publishing grants support authors and publishers with the costs of producing physical and digital books.

Live Performing Arts

This grant invests in Live Performing Arts projects that are ready to be staged for a paying audience to expand commercial potential. Live performances and digital broadcasts are eligible.

Interactive Digital

The Digital Game Development Grant Program invests in Saskatchewan’s digital developers, helping them create digital games and gamified e-learning projects with commercial potential.

Craft & Visual Arts

This grant invests in eligible Saskatchewan artists and craftspeople producing craft and visual art with commercial intent.

Showcase or Sell Travel

This grant provides support to individuals and businesses to attend markets, industry showcases and pitch events.

Marketing

This grant provides support for marketing and publicity to improve visibility and generate sales.

Tour Support

You’ve played some local gigs and built a local fan base. Now you’re ready to take your show on the road and perform for new audiences.

Business Improvement

This grant supports projects that focus on professional development, increasing workforce capacity, and improving business efficiencies through technology infrastructure updates which result in growth, market expansion and improved profitability.

Research

This grant provides support to projects that focus on market research and intelligence activities identifying commercial opportunities and/or emerging technologies.

Industry Sponsorship

Creative Saskatchewan may sponsor industry events or initiatives that assist creative entrepreneurs in developing their business capacity.
