a) Eligible ‘Projects’ are defined as events, initiatives, campaigns, exhibits, performances, interactive experiences and so on that align with Creative Saskatchewan’s mandate to support the commercialization of the creative industries in Saskatchewan. Projects must propel creative entrepreneurs in developing their business capacity and be designed to impart skills / tools to further the entrepreneur’s career.
Please note that market access alone is not an eligible project.
b) The creative industries that Creative Saskatchewan supports include the following categories:
i. Book Publishing
ii. Craft and visual arts
iii. Interactive digital media
iv. Live performing arts (theatre, dance, stand-up comedy, etc.)
v. Music (orchestra, singers, bands, etc.)
vi. Film and television production

Creative Saskatchewan is the economic development agency for Saskatchewan’s creative industries. Creative Saskatchewan unlocks the potential of the creative industries and fuels the economic engine of homegrown talent, converting creativity into cashflow. The agency’s investments propel creative entrepreneurs as they create, perform, innovate, and export in their pursuit of commercial success.
When considering sponsorship requests, we consider the project’s alignment with our Mission, Vision, and Values.
Creative Saskatchewan is a leader supporting collaboration, entrepreneurial capacity, innovation, and convergence that maximizes leveraged resources, commercial success and market access for Saskatchewan’s creative industries and producers.
We are driven to achieve a future where Saskatchewan’s creative producers continue to realize diverse commercial opportunities in national, international, and emerging markets which collectively grow thriving, sustainable creative industries.
As an organization we uphold the following values to support the interest of the creative community:
Representing diversity in Saskatchewan’s creative sectors
While not a requirement, Creative Saskatchewan does take inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility into consideration:
a) Creative Saskatchewan sponsorships are available year-round until the fund is exhausted.
i. Sponsorships for the following year may be conditionally accepted pending fund availability after the Creative Saskatchewan budget is finalized and approved by the Board of Directors for April 1.
b) Applicants must clearly outline what Creative Saskatchewan funds will be allocated towards.
c) Applicants are required to submit their application with ample time for review, approval, follow up, and implementation of appropriate benefits.
d) Creative Saskatchewan will set quarterly deadlines to receive sponsorship requests, and will respond to requests no later than 8 weeks from the last day of the quarter:
