Who Does What?

• You are registered in good standing with Saskatchewan’s Information Services Corporation, incorporated for at least one year.
• You are a First Nation, Tribal Council, Métis Local, or Municipality.
• You have a primarily cultural mandate or otherwise demonstrate significant engagement in cultural activity.
• For the Small Grant Accessibility program, unincorporated groups must have a Canadian bank account in the organization’s name.
• You are in good standing with the Sask Lotteries Community Grant program.
• For Creative Kids, applicants must be ages 4 to 19 years, living in Saskatchewan, who can demonstrate financial need.

Operational funding for:

• Eligible cultural organizations, identified on the Minister’s Eligibility List.
• Community museums, and various community based cultural organizations, who provide programming provincially.

Project funding for advancing:

• First Nations and Métis cultural traditions, skills and knowledge that promote leadership, world views, cultural practices and activities.
• Multicultural/Ethno-cultural/Cross-cultural engagement and development activities that aim to advance cross-cultural understanding, as well as Truth and Reconciliation.
• Community cultural planning and engagement support, including research, evaluation, strategies and collaborative efforts, for different types of communities.
• Cultural programming for youth in the North, Culture Days hubs, and Creative Kids.
• Small, unique and innovative cultural initiatives that respond to emerging needs or changes in the cultural sector, designed to create access for first time and under-served applicants.
